Our second iteration of the MET website launched in 2022 and was designed with scalability in mind. Three years since launch, the Metropolitan had grown to house countless events, concerts, markets, and became home to flagship arts and cultural programs The Refinery Creative Incubator, the Design Series, and Your City. Your Story.
Our challenge was to feature a very diverse range of events, alongside a growing directory of new local businesses, whilst also promoting latest news, and event hire. The solution - a user friendly directory based site that could allow every single event, business or activation to shine. Somewhere that people would visit, and bookmark to come back to for all that is happening in the new beating heart of Maroochydore.
An ongoing lead generation campaign has supported the MET’s website since day one becoming an integral communications tool. The “MET City Mailer” email is delivered monthly to the MET’s database driving visits to the site, and keeping people in the loop of What’s On.
